Nkechi Blessing and Phyna are set to take their disagreement into the boxing ring.
The two entertainers are scheduled to face each other on October 1 at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos as part of the “Chaos in the Ring” event. The bout is also expected to be broadcast on DAZN and SuperSport.
Nkechi confirmed the fight on Friday, September 18, by sharing a promotional poster for the match and sending a warning to Phyna ahead of the encounter.
“E don burst… @unusualphyna you don’t want to go this route with me 😀😀😀 put your money on me sha cus na sure odd 🎯 I no want talk too much till October 1st 🥊,” she wrote.
The announcement comes after the pair exchanged words over Phyna’s approach to her disagreements with people.
Nkechi had earlier criticised Phyna, questioning why she seemed to get into frequent fights with people online.
Phyna later responded by explaining that she and Nkechi were never friends and that their contact had mainly been about a possible film project.
Now, the disagreement has taken a different direction, with both women expected to settle the matter inside the ring on October 1.
