Shocking footage captures a subway rider dragging an unconscious passenger off a train in Manhattan, highlighting growing concerns over subway safety amidst recent incidents.
In a disturbing scene captured in Manhattan’s Turtle Bay neighbourhood, a subway rider is seen removing an unconscious person from a train, reportedly to clear the tracks and resume the journey.
The incident, the latest in a series of subway troubles, highlights growing unease among New Yorkers. Despite safety concerns, bystanders remained relatively passive, with only one individual checking the unconscious person’s condition.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) confirmed the incident on March 7, attributing the passenger’s state to drugs. Police responded but found the person awake and declined medical help, allowing the train to proceed after the incident.
