Presidential aide Olusegun Dada has criticized entertainer Nasboi over his comment advising Nigerians not to di.e for the country.
He described the remark as disrespectful to members of the armed f0rces who r!sk their lives in service to the nation.
The controversy began after Nasboi commented on social media:
“No matter how patriotic, please don’t di.e for Nigeria.”
Reacting to the statement, Dada, who serves as Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Social Media, accused the entertainer of belittling the sacrifices made by Nigerian military personnel.
According to Dada, members of the armed forces willingly put their lives on the line to protect the country and its citizens.
“Members of the armed forces give their lives for the nation without question to safeguard lives and properties. This failed comedian/failed skit maker/failed musician has the gall to rubbish the sacrifices of the fighting men and women of the armed forces,” Dada said.
