The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),
has recruited the services of 24,930 adhoc staff, 379 collation officers and 37
returning officers for the elections.

The electoral body is conducting a re-run election in
three senatorial districts, 12 federal constituencies and 22 state
constituencies on Saturday, March 19, in compliance with the appeal tribunal
which nullified the earlier polls.

The Nigeria Police has also deployed 6,000 personnel
