Singer Peruzzi has opened up about one of the choices he made while trying to find his place in the music industry during his early years.
According to the singer, a friend once suggested he meet a babalawo who allegedly worked with fellow stars Wizkid and Davido to help boost his career.
However, Peruzzi said he turned down the idea because it went against the values he was raised with.
“I had a friend who once told me he knew a babalawo that did it for Wizkid and Davido, but I refused because that’s not how I was raised and I strongly believe in my songwriting,” he said.
The singer explained that despite the pressure and struggles that came with his early journey in music, he chose to remain focused on his talent and trust his creativity rather than seek spiritual shortcuts.
