The 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, paid a visit on Tuesday to former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, shortly after his release from detention
The meeting took place at Malami’s residence in Abuja, just hours after he regained freedom from the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
While the purpose of the visit has not been officially disclosed, it is believed to be linked to Malami’s ongoing issues involving the DSS and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Malami was said to have been granted bail on Monday. A video that surfaced online captured the emotional moment he reunited with his family after spending months in detention.
