Manchester City’s Phil Foden has been crowned the PFA Players’ Player of the Year, beating out teammates Erling Haaland and Rodri, as well as Cole Palmer, Martin Odegaard, and Ollie Watkins

Foden received the award at a glamorous ceremony at the Manchester Opera House on Tuesday night.

In other awards, Manchester City’s Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw won the Women’s Players’ Player of the Year, and Tottenham’s Grace Clinton was named Women’s PFA Young Player of the Year.
Foden’s impressive season helped Manchester City secure a record-breaking fourth consecutive Premier League title, with 19 goals and eight assists in the league.
He also scored 27 times in all competitions, contributing to City’s victories in the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
This award marks Foden’s third PFA Young Player of the Year win, having previously won in 2020-21 and 2021-22.
He has now completed a sweep of major individual honors, also winning the Football Writers’ Association award and the Premier League Player of the Season award.
