Federal High Court in Abuja as detained leader of the Indigenous People of
Biafra, IPOB, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, refused to let prison officials remove the

Federal High Court in Abuja as detained leader of the Indigenous People of
Biafra, IPOB, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, refused to let prison officials remove the
handcuffs on him and said he won’t also be getting down of the prison van that conveyed
him to court.
The helpless prison officials had to summon his lead
counsel, who came down and persuaded his client to come down of the van. Though
it took several minutes before Kanu succumbed to the plea of his counsel, he
however didn’t let any of them remove the handcuffs on him as they led him into
the court room for trial.
