Police declares two men wanted over alleged mu.rder

The Lagos State Police Command has declared two men wanted in connection with the alleged mu.rder of a woman in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State

The suspects were identified as 32-year-old Folawiyo Alagbado and 33-year-old Ajibola Obateru, both of whom reportedly have their last known addresses in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The command disclosed this in separate wanted-person bulletins posted on its X handle on Wednesday.

According to the police, the suspects allegedly worked with other accomplices to attack the victim, k!ll her and remove her body to an unknown location. Her personal belongings were also reportedly stolen.

The incident was said to have occurred in the Ikoyi axis of Lagos.

In the bulletin for Alagbado, the police stated:

“The suspect conspired with others to attack the victim, allegedly killed her and made away with her body to an unknown location.

“The victim’s belongings were also stolen by the fleeing suspect and his cohorts.

“DESCRIPTION: Tribe: Yoruba, Age: 32, Height: Average, Face: Oval, Nose: Wide, Mouth: Long Wide, Lips: Medium, Eyes Colour: White, Complexion: Dark Colour, Chin: Round, Hair: Normal, Forehead: Smooth, Dress: Decent. Last Known Address: Ibadan, Oyo State.”

The police described Obateru in his bulletin as follows:

“Tribe: Yoruba, Age: 33, Height: 5.9ft, Build: Thin, Face: Oval, Nose: Long, Mouth: Small, Lips: Thin, Eyes Colour: Black, Complexion: Fair, Chin: Pointed, Hair: Black Thick, Head: High, Forehead: High, Habits and Mannerisms: Appear Gentle, Dress: Decent. Last Known Address: Ibadan, Oyo State.”

The command urged anyone who knows the whereabouts of either suspect to contact the nearest police station or visit the Office of the Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department, Musiliu Smith Street, Panti, Yaba, Lagos.

The police also provided 08038843816 for information that may assist in apprehending the suspects.

Members of the public who come across either suspect were advised not to confront them or take the law into their own hands, but to immediately notify the police.
