
After the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode on Wednesday ordered
all directors of Lekki Worldwide Estate Limited to submit themselves to the
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fatai Owoseni, within the next twenty
four hours or face immediate arrest, after a five-storey building under
construction owned by the company collapsed on Kushela Road, Ikate Elegushi, Lekki
which killed at least 35 people. The Managing Director and Chief Executive
Officer of the company, Richard Nyong made himself available to the police and
was detained shortly after interrogation.

Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Dolapo Badmos, said
Nyong will be charged to court once investigations have been completed.
