Emotion ran high at the burial service of Lasisi Oluwamayokun, an officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ogun State Command, and her daughter, Adesewa, on Friday as they were interred in Osogbo, Osun State

38-year-old Oluwamayokun and her daughter were reported missing on the morning of Sunday, November 2, 2025 after they left their residence at the Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, and never returned.

Victor Fajemirokun, the manfriend of the deceased, was later arrested by the police and when paraded before journalists, explained why he lured the duo to their de.ath in the hands of some herbalists in Osun State.

Fajemirokun, aged 40 years, was paraded alongside two herbalists, Gboyega Daramola and Sunday James, at the headquarters of the Osun State Police Command in Osogbo.

At the burial service held at the burial ground of St John’s Anglican Church, Ita-Olookan, Osogbo, her colleagues and family members could not hold back tears as the remains were lowered.
