The Chase Between Ark Insurance Brokers And Seun Bankole Deepens As Article Hits Soft Spot

    Article not written by me.

There has been a new development after Seun Bankole decided
to do an article on The Ark Insurance for delaying in their pledge to replace
his damaged vehicle. As expected, the story caught their attention and another
meeting was scheduled between The Ark Brokers ably represented by Mr Tayo
Awogboro and Mr Seun Bankole. This time however, the tone had changed… so let’s
take some steps backward and fill some loop holes. Some of us pay attention to
    details.
    • When the clash happened that Saturday morning, it was
gathered that there were nine fully grown horses in the truck that hit Mr.
    Bankole’s car. ‘Horses in transit’
    • Funny, a Manager at the Ark office mentioned that what if
one of the horses had died, displaying concern for the animals which apparently
belongs to them…at the expense of four human lives that were risked in that
    accident. Continue…
•It didn’t take long for a representative of The Ark
Insurance Brokers to appear at the scene…with promises and pledges and
assurances. Why would they claim that responsibility for someone else’s wrong
doing? Oh, they insured the truck? Well, cool.
    • On this day though, The Ark never claimed responsibility
as the brokers in charge of the truck but claimed responsibility for the truck
and called the driver ‘ their staff’, adding that the third insurance policy of
the truck covers the damaged vehicle. We are lame, do pray, what does this
    connote?
    • Now, Ark claims that the said driver was not drunk as
alleged in the first story, well, he was either drunk as alleged (some
witnesses would swear he was) or a very reckless driver who had little
knowledge of traffic rules and lights.
    • The Ark has changed its tune after a little article that
only called on them to own up and take responsibility; now, ark claims the
    truck belongs to an individual.
    • Ark had initially promised to purchase another vehicle, or
foot the bill of repair if it was possible… Experts from Nissan after
thoroughly checking the vehicle concluded that purchasing a new one was
advisable which Ark agreed to. However, this new tune has undertones of
    deliberate evasion.
    • The management of Ark has ordered the victim to retract
the story published on Ladun Liadi’s blog before further discussion
•In our view, a retraction should come when they honor their
end of the deal, in fact, this pen would gladly write another story in their
praise, but only after the honored deal, when the victim can boldly say; that
The Ark has made him happy.
    • In the pursuit of peace, Seun Bankole agreed to the 60%
agreement which the company says it’s the legacy to pay in such situations,
only for Mr Tayo Awogboro to refuse checking the internet for the present cost
of the destroyed car. (A 2011 Armada Platinum jeep) According to Mr Awogboro,
the company had no internet. To make things easy, Bankole offered the use of
his wireless internet which was refused by Mr Awogboro.
    • As feared, only the of law can settle this…which is a
shame and a big slap on the insurance firm… Ark Insurance Brokers are one of
the leading Insurance firms in Nigeria as we speak.
According to Seun Bankole whose life and that of his
brothers and manager were risked on the fateful day, “ retraction should come
after and not before. My publicist will gladly do a follow up story” he
    declares.
