Toke Makinwa is counting down to a very special milestone as her daughter, Yaya, prepares to celebrate her first birthday.
Speaking on Snapchat, the media personality reflected on her pregnancy, motherhood and the joy she has experienced over the past year. She shared that watching her daughter grow has been nothing short of a blessing and expressed gratitude for how healthy and peaceful the journey has been.
She said:
“My child has never been sick. My child has never even had a common cold. I know people are always like those things are good for their immune system but every single thing I prayed for while I was pregnant with her, God heard it. She has hit every milestone and she’s healthy and calm. I am now a mother of a one year old. I am flying her out, I’m going to be having her party in London.”
Along with celebrating Yaya’s first year, Toke also revealed that the birthday festivities will take place in London, where family and loved ones are expected to mark the occasion.
