President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk, threatening him with “serious consequences” if he continues to fund Democratic candidates running against Republicans who support Trump’s major tax and spending bill

Trump made the declaration during a phone interview with NBC News on Saturday, where he also confirmed that his once-close relationship with Musk has now ended.
Asked if he considered their relationship over, Trump responded, “I would assume so, yeah.” When pressed on whether he had any interest in mending ties with the Tesla and SpaceX CEO, Trump replied bluntly, “No. I have no intention of speaking to him.”
While he didn’t specify what the “serious consequences” would be, Trump said he had not discussed launching investigations into Musk or terminating federal contracts with his companies, including Starlink and SpaceX.
The rift between the two billionaires escalated after Musk publicly slammed Trump’s tax and spending bill, calling it a “disgusting abomination.” His vocal opposition has complicated Republican efforts to push the bill through Congress, where they hold only narrow majorities.
