Nollywood actress Uche Jombo has criticised everyone involved in the sharing of photos and videos of late actor Alexx Ekubo’s wife despite deliberate efforts to keep her identity private
The actress expressed her displeasure after images of Alexx’s widow surfaced online following his service of songs, where she had worn a face mask in an apparent attempt to avoid public attention.
The memorial event drew family, friends and colleagues from the entertainment industry who gathered to honour the late actor.
Reacting to the development, Uche Jombo pointed out that Alexx had intentionally kept his wife away from the spotlight during his lifetime and that those close to him respected that decision.
Uche queried why they’d chose to reveal her face at this sensitive period.
She said:
“A husband who been through public scrutiny kept his wife private (to protect her) none of his close friends ever shared her picture, she wore face mask to his service of songs. Yet somehow the privacy message didn’t register to bloggers.
Woke up today to her videos and pictures all over my TL as breaking news.”
