VeryDarkMan has reacted strongly after releasing an EFCC petition letter calling for an investigation into his financial activities and those of his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, following his protest against band!try and criticism of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
The activist shared the document publicly, insisting the move was not about financial accountability but an attempt to silence him and suppress ongoing criticism of government failures.
According to him, the petition is politically motivated and tied to his recent mobilisation of Nigerians during protests over insecurity and alleged bad governance.
VeryDarkMan did not hold back in his reaction, linking the EFCC letter to what he described as a broader effort to intimidate voices speaking against the government. He alleged that the petition was sponsored by political actors uncomfortable with the scale and organisation of his protests.
He wrote:
“THEY WANT TO STOP US FROM SPEAKING AGAINST THIS EVIL GOVERNMENT THAT HAVE FAILED TO PROTECT THE LIVES OF NIGERIANS, SO THEY USED THEIR PEOPLE TO WRITE PETITIONS)
They say APC wrote a petition to efcc to investigate myself and @adeyanjudeji according to the petition they are claiming we are fighting against bad governance and therefore we are being sponsored so they need to investigate US, they claim our protest is so organized and well organic, they are surprised by the turnout of Nigerians that wants change, SO FOR THAT REASON APC member who is also a lawyer wrote a petition……. in a nutshell they want to claim we are sponsoring terrorism in other to disrupt APC GOVERNMENT
The apc lawyer is called BLESSING AGBOMHERE FROM EDO STATE, my local government area ETSAKO…….
