Eyiyemi Afolayan, daughter of renowned filmmaker Kunle Afolayan, has shared her thoughts on marriage, relationships, and financial stability in a candid statement.
Speaking about the kind of relationship she desires, Eyiyemi said she cannot see herself becoming a second or third wife to any man. She also explained why she is not interested in building from the ground up with a man who is struggling financially.
According to her, experience and observation have shaped her perspective on relationships and commitment.
“I can’t be a second or third wife to any man. I also can’t build with a man because some men are ingrates. If I should marry a struggling man, he will stay with me and be dedicated to me, not because he loves me but because he has no money at that time to be flirting around.
“Once he has money, he becomes promiscuous.
‘I’m from a well-to-do home, so I will have to marry a man who has something going on in his life, not a poor man starting from zero.”
