A fresh update has emerged in the ongoing controversy involving broadcaster Frank Edoho and his estranged wife, Sandra, as “Monisola Hard Cafe Arsenal” has released a detailed statement alongside what she claims are original WhatsApp conversations with Frank
She insists the chats earlier shared by Sandra were fake and meant to misrepresent what actually happened between them.
In her account, Monisola explained that she met Frank on October 31, 2023, at Hard Rock Café in Lagos after a casual conversation about his online personality led to an introduction.
She wrote: “His friend heard me call him a ‘savage’ and called his attention to come hear what I called him. That was how we met… we talked about Arsenal, Rap and some random Twitter bants.”
She said they later exchanged contacts and continued chatting until November 19, 2023, when the tone allegedly changed and she received a message offering her ₦10 million to meet at VGC that night.
“It was a shocking offer and I had to ask if I’d be exchanging my kidney for 10M. He said I don’t have to do anything,” she wrote.
Monisola said she informed two close friends for safety reasons before going, and was later picked up by a woman who she believed was part of the arrangement.
She alleged that the woman turned out to be Sandra, Frank’s estranged wife, who drove her to the house where she was locked in and questioned.
She wrote: “She locked the door… I knew in my stomach that I was in trouble.”
She also claimed Frank came down looking confused and said: “I know you, what are you doing in my house Monisola.”
According to her, Sandra began recording the encounter and later used fabricated chats suggesting she demanded payments like ₦50k–₦100k, which she strongly denied.
Monisola insisted: “The MONISOLA part is FALSE!!!! I own up to my shhiii with my full chest.”
She further alleged that Frank later called her in 2024 and apologised, claiming he was also misrepresented in the situation.
In her statement, she accused Sandra of setting her up for public backlash and insisted she only got caught in a situation she never anticipated.
