Oladips, a Nigerian rapper, has publicly accused Wizkid of intellectual theft, alleging that Wizkid’s verse on Asake’s song “MMS” bears a striking resemblance to his own lyrics from “Ajala Traveller” (2022)
Oladips shared a screenshot comparison, highlighting the similarity between his line “I had to lose myself to find my purpose” and Wizkid’s line “Lost Myself, and I found my purpose”.
He questioned the coincidence, asking if it was “recycling or coincidence”, and called on Wizkid to address the issue.
