Chidimma Adetshina, who was once a finalist in the Miss South Africa pageant, is now competing in Miss Universe Nigeria.
She’s asking people to vote for her because of problems with her South African citizenship.
Chidimma, who is 23 years old, came in 25th place in Miss South Africa. Now she’s representing Taraba state in Nigeria.
In a video shared on Miss Universe Nigeria’s social media, Chidimma asked people to vote for her so she can be in the Top 10. She talked about how she overcame hard times when she was in Miss South Africa. Now she wants to use Miss Universe Nigeria to help people understand and accept each other better.
Chidimma said: “I also want to educate people on the power of diversity to build a stronger community that benefits everyone.”
