Senator Ned Nwoko, the husband of actress Regina Daniels, has officially denied rumors that he plans to marry actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife
In a statement released by his office, the claims were described as “entirely baseless and a product of malicious speculation”.
The statement also addressed reports that Senator Nwoko made statements about Tuface and polygamy, labeling them as “completely untrue”. It emphasized that as a public figure, and with his wife being an actress, it’s not unusual for bloggers to fabricate attention-seeking stories.
Senator Nwoko’s office reminded the public to disregard the rumors and rely only on official statements from his office. They also cautioned media practitioners about the consequences of spreading fake news.
This comes on the heels that Regina Daniels deactivated her Instagram account due to marital woes she’s facing, most especially regarding the pregnancy of Chika Ike being tied to her husband, Ned Nwoko.
