Former Senate President Bukola Saraki and former Kwara State Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed are set to be arraigned on June 4 over a 20-count charge filed by the Kwara State Government in connection with the 2018 Offa bank robbery.
The case is scheduled to be heard before Justice Haleemah Salman of the Kwara State High Court.
Also listed as defendants are Yusuf Abdulwahab and Alabi Olalekan.
The charge, dated April 9, was filed by the state Attorney-General, Ibrahim Sulyman.

The Kwara State Government accused the defendants of conspiracy, culpable homicide and other offences linked to the deadly April 2018 robbery in Offa.
The prosecution said the case followed the Court of Appeal’s decision which upheld the conviction of key suspects in the robbery, including Ayo Akinnibosun.
According to the state, Akinnibosun made statements during trial linking the attack to a political network, alleging that some individuals supported and armed the gang.
The government also claimed that some suspects were seen with Saraki during a visit to Offa after the incident, and that items connected to the case were recovered from government facilities in 2018.
Akinnibosun was further alleged to have said he received firearms, a vehicle and money from Abdulwahab.
Saraki has, however, denied the allegations, insisting the case is politically motivated and aimed at damaging his reputation.
Ahmed has also dismissed the claims, maintaining that he had no involvement in the robbery.
