The federal government, under President Bola Tinubu, has assured Nigerians that the country is steadily moving toward uninterrupted power supply
This longstanding national concern was reiterated by the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, who noted visible progress in both electricity generation and distribution.

According to Daily Trust, Adelabu made the remarks while inaugurating two new blocks at the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN), which include five training workshops and a 104-room hostel.
The minister highlighted that, for the first time in many years, Nigerians are witnessing improvements in the stability of power supply. He emphasized that while the progress is gradual, it aligns with the federal government’s long-term goal of ensuring continuous electricity for homes, industries, and public facilities.
“In no time, we are going to witness a country where there is 24/7 uninterrupted power supply. This is possible, and we have certainly seen the signs,” Adelabu said.
He also outlined that one of the government’s immediate strategies is to ensure that critical public infrastructures receive reliable power. Several universities, hospitals, primary health centers, and other essential institutions are already benefiting from these government-backed interventions.
