Kanye West’s latest music video for ‘Bomb’, a track from his ¥$ collaboration with Ty Dolla Sign, has sparked controversy among fans
Released with a visually chaotic, postapocalyptic desert theme, the video prominently features animated depictions of his and ex-wife, Kim Kardashian’s daughters, North, 11, and Chicago, 6, driving Mad Max–style vehicles while pursued by cartoonish monsters.
Criticism erupted online, with fans condemning the music video for its unsettling visuals and questioning the decision to include the children.
Many viewers speculated that the video was AI-generated, suggesting North and Chicago were never physically filmed, though some critics missed this nuance in their reactions.
The track, which debuted on the poorly received ‘Vultures 2’ album in August, received additional criticism for its quality, echoing the unfavorable reception of the album.
Adding to the controversy, Kim Kardashian, who recently described herself as a “single parent” due to West’s long absence from their children’s lives, promoted the video on her Instagram, further fueling debate.
Social media comments ranged from disapproval of the daughters’ involvement to harsh critiques of the song and its bizarre visuals.
Notably, Kanye West himself does not appear in the video, though his presence in the song has done little to quell the backlash.
